Who we are
Venture Classes is operated by Venture University LLC, a United States company. Venture University LLC is the controller of the personal data described here.
Data we collect
Email address and optional name (waitlist and account); sign-in details from Google or Lovable; class purchases and enrollments; lesson progress, quiz scores and reminder preferences; goals you enter into the class recommender; and basic technical data such as IP address and device information.
Why we use it, and legal basis
To create your account and deliver purchased classes (contract); to track your progress, send study reminders you turn on and launch updates you sign up for (consent, which you can withdraw); to keep the service secure and prevent fraud, and to improve our classes (legitimate interests); and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Hosting, database and AI service providers that run the site; Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, payments, tax and invoicing; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under US state privacy laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and opt out of marketing at any time.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
