Who you are contracting with
Venture Classes is operated by Venture University LLC, a United States company (“we”, “us”). By purchasing or using Venture Classes you are contracting with Venture University LLC.
Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use this site and its classes, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.
The service
Venture Classes provides online educational video classes, lesson outlines, practice quizzes and downloadable materials about venture capital, angel investing and startups. Purchased classes unlock as they are released.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe intellectual property, or to interfere with security (including malware, probing or scraping). You may not resell, share or redistribute class content.
Intellectual property
Venture University LLC owns the service and all class videos, materials, software and branding. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view the classes you purchase.
Educational content only
All content is for general educational purposes only and is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, nor a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Your decisions are your own responsibility.
Payments and orders
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). See also our Refund Policy.
Service level
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Release dates are planned and may change.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Venture University LLC is organized.
